I'm curious to see if anyone has any experience with QuickTrick alignment tools. I'm sure it's cheaper to just go to a shop to do it, but I'd like to be able to do it at home to avoid incompetent shops or those that don't care. If you want something done right...

Here is what I'm talking about for those that don't know.

After watching some YouTube videos, it seems like it would be decent for caster and camber, but I'm not sure about toe. The only other toe measurement tools that I saw for a DIY that looked precise were very expensive.

Anyone have any feedback? Thanks in advance!

The alignment on my STI was less than the cost of that tool lol

there vid on the site didn't work .

If I think I know what it can do, its ok if you do your own work and want to get it into ballpark .
For example lowered suspension or tie rod/ball joint replacement .

But its not going to get you full 4 wheel alignment.

For camber and caster I've used either this . . .

or this . . .

or even this (the little scale is graduated to 0.01")

For toe I set up parallel strings and use the same little scale that's in the last picture.

I might have $100 tied up in all of it combined, and with a steady hand and a little patience any one of them is good to within about ±0.1°.
