There's a lot of new 2018 sitting on lots and 2019 are already out as well. What is the expected/reasonable discount for a new 2018?

For reference, I'm looking at a 2018 GT premium with a sticker of $51k and the dealer is selling it for $46k. I'd think it should be close to $43-44k to justify being a year older, regardless of being new.

Here in Dallas you can pick up new '18 base GT's for about $30k, so I'd gauge my expectation on what the up-charge for premium options over base and add them to that $30k number.

I'm looking also
I've seen a couple 2018s with MSRP in the $49.5-50K range with advertised prices below $44K. I'm looking at one right now with a MSRP of $50,465 and they are asking $43,300 after dealer discounts and Ford rebates and incentives. Yea, so I think around $7K off a 2018 is about right if you can find one equipped as you like.

I just picked up my 18’ GT 301A, 10 speed auto, PP1, Magneride, Active Valve Exhaust, Navigation and security package in Ingot silver listed at 47,365 for 38315 which included 3750.00 from Ford rebates and the rest from the dealership on Friday. That doesn’t include shipping, tax, tag, title and a 300.00 dealer fee at Koons Ford in MD. I drove up from FL and traded my 09 Corvette.

2018 is the way to go clearly. I am after one for me. Going to use these numbers as a baseline.

I just picked up a 18 Premium today. MSRP was $44,570 I believe and I was able to pick it up for $39,400. That included my local taxes and any dealer fees. Ford rebate that applied to this deal was $3000. Many great deals to be had on the 18s. The salesman told me that Ford is still sending them 18 Stangs.
