Hi folks

Did anyone of the Mach 1 owners already replace the factory incandescent turn signal bulbs by the Diode Dynamics LED bulbs?
https://www.diodedynamics.com/switc...r-15-17-ford-mustang-18-20-mustang-gt350.html

I would be very interested to see, how these are installed in the Mach 1, because the front of the Mach 1 is quite different to the GT front due to all the coolers.
All the installation videos I found for the GT350, which is more similar to the Mach 1, remove the whole front bumper, which is a little cumbersome in my opinion.
And I did not find any videos specifically for the Mach 1...

So, I would really appreciate some hints about the easiest way to install these Diode Dynamics LED turn signals on a Mach 1.

Have a great day!

Remove the fender liners. You might be able to get to the bulbs that way. I replaced the whole light, so I took the front bumper off. I hope this helps.

Diode said these don't fit so I didn't bother. They look identical to the 2018+ lights to me so who knows.

Installed these on my 21 without issue. Just turn the wheel for better access, remove a few clips and pull back the wheel liner (just like in the video for the GT350 and pre 18 cars, since the light housing is the same). A little difficult to get to the bulbs as there are coolers in the way, but it is doable and no need to remove the bumper. The blinker sound will change unless you install the inline resistors. I didn't bother since the turn signals still blink at the original rate. Pretty happy with the change.

Oh, I was thinking these were the elite series sequential turn signals and not just the bulbs. My bad. I was hoping the sequential ones would come to the Mach 1 but they probably won't.

Then I don't see why these wouldn't work for you: https://www.diodedynamics.com/2015-2017-mustang-sequential-led-turn-signals-usdm.html. Pretty sure same part cross references the 15-17 year, all GT350s and M1s (and I think GT500s). You definitely need to take off the bumper to install these. I was looking at them, but did not feel like doing all the work and the switchbacks satisfy me.
Yeah, I had these on my 17 GT. I loved them. If I can get them to fit in the Mach 1 I'll do it.

Guess I'll order a set then. Thanks for the confirmation.
I'd be very interested to know how difficult it was when you install these, thinking about getting myself. I also have HP Mach 1 2021

It's just removing the bumper carefully. Once that is done it's a cakewalk.

Yeah, I ordered them from a different site. Still waiting on a shipping confirmation but it may still go directly through Diode.

You will need resistors for these unless you don't mind the erratic blinker sound inside on the dash.
