Got mine about a week ago and love them! They fit perfect. I was going to upload a pic but just look at Mikeg4572's pic and it would be exactly the same. You need the sidemarker light in there too to complete the look.

That's what I dont want

Diode Dynamics do you have an option for those of us that don't want the light to be over powering?
The amber has to be bright enough to be visible during the daytime to be safe. I wouldn't call it "overpowering" in person, but they are definitely bright enough to be safe, and they fill out the turn signal housings with uniform output.

We have replacement RGBW boards available for the DRL's, but professional installation is highly recommended for that product.

Are you referring to the RGBW replacement boards or the switchbacks?

We have a 30-day hassle free return policy on both

If you have someone professionally install the replacement DRL boards, you probably won't receive your labor costs back.

Here's our Return & Exchange Section: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/returns-exchanges

Thanks!

Just the switchbacks. I don't mind the amber blinker being bright I just meant when the blinker isn't on and it's just the white light

We can provide a refund if you decide you don't like the output within 30 days.

What I'm trying to explain is that the bulbs have to be bright to be visible during the daytime. Our team developed a custom amber LED to achieve such a bright turn signal.

Our goal is to provide the best quality, and reducing brightness isn't something we get asked often for turn signals.

The DRL's have more color to them than most factory LEDs due to their diffuser design. Most factory LEDs are 5000K-6500K range

Thanks!

I had issues with one bulb and had to have it replaced. This one works but it's been in and out, the White LED doesn't stay lit however the amber works when turning.

A few times I've taken it out made sure the pins were straight and placed it back in again. On my way home before, my tail light was out on the same exact side as the switchback I'm having troubles with.

But once again, after taking the switchback out and reinserting it, both the tail light and the switchback worked just fine.

Anyone else run into similar issues? There is a bit of wiggle room between the socket and the bulb when its in there, I'm able to move it ever so slightly. Is that normal? Is the tail light being out related to the switchback?

There have been a few reports of premature tail light failure on new Mustangs, but it's unrelated to the switchbacks.

Please give us a call if you are having any issues and we will assist you: (314) 205-3033

Nick,

Is there any chance you guys can change the color temp of the white LEDs in the switchbacks?

I am a whore for uniformity, and unfortunately the switchbacks stick out like a sore thumb. They are very much on the cooler end of the light spectrum, and look completely out of place with the other lights.

I couldn't really capture the color in this image, but you can still see the differences...

Thank you sir.

We offer 4300K and 5000K HP24 switchback options as well, but the 194 bulbs are a perfect match with our 6000K option. The DRL's look extremely purple thanks to the design of the diffuser in the DRL housing.

The factory low-beams are 4300K and the fog lights are around 5000K FWIW

Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions: (314) 205-3033

If I would have known there were different color options (they aren't listed on the Mustang specific page) I would have probably ordered differently. But for $60 I am not taking another gamble. I will probably end up pulling these out and just tossing them in my toolbox.

I don't care about them not matching the DRLs or headlights, but when they are a different color than the light they are directly above it looks pretty ghetto... very Autozone'ish. Certainly NOT what I expected after spending $72 on the kit.

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't satisfied with their appearance

If you'd like to return them for a refund, please feel free to give us a call: (314) 205-3033

They are definitely not "Autozone-ish" in quality, and the color temperatures for our products are very accurate.

The fog lights, DRLs, and OEM HID's are all different colors from the factory.

Here's a recent comparison on a 2014 Ford Raptor with 4300K OEM HID's and our 4000K HP24's:

The factory projector makes the 4300K appear to have much more color
