Diode Dynamics Map Lights

Has anyone upgraded there Map Lights, Diode makes some colored ones wanted to see what the orange, green, and or blue ones looked like. If someone has them can they post a pic.

Brighter would be OK, but colors would make reading an issue. That's the only time I need them.

Yeah I took them out of my 2014 before I sold it. I think it was the middle grade brightness.

I have the DD bright white kit in my car as well. I like them and they look better, but I found you can buy very similar ones much cheaper on Amazon. You just have to figure out the code for each that you want to replace.

Yes, tons of options on Amazon. I searched interior light kits for my make and model. I found red, yellow, green and blue in the 5 mins I searched.

Right I wanted to see some photo's of blue diode dynamics in the car if anyone had.

I replaced mine with white led’s I got on eBay. Generic 168’s if I recall, also did the glove box light. Both a gigantic improvement. So simple to do. Used the leftovers to do the map, dome and license plate light on my Toyota too. Nothing special needed and so much more light.

So I went with the high lumen blue diode dynamics, the only issue is getting the map light housing to sit tight as it was when before I removed it. Like any panel never goes back great. Anyone have any tricks.
