Hi Everyone,

I recently ordered a Mustang GT Premium with CS package and 401A, which might arrive in 3-4 months if I am lucky. and I started looking at Mach 1 as I had an additional 10k budget. So I'm thinking of getting Mach 1 now. One main reason is, I was studying everywhere, the manual in Mach 1 is much better and I want a Manual Mustang.

I got the insurance quote and it's similar to GT, the only thing expense-wise its changing for me is the monthly payments. But are there any other maintenance costs or anything that I need to be worried about if I am considering Mach 1?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Look at the tire setup on the mach1 version you're looking at. If they are staggered (larger in rear) there are added costs there but they do look great. Mach 1 has more track cred/hp where the cs is a looks package but can be had with the performace pack1 for the first time in 2022.

I did see that I’ve to replace them with all season tyres once I buy it and yeah that’s for the input. I’ll check it.

the one I’m trying to get has P255F/P275R/40R19 summer tires

I looked at this as well. To really compare you would have to add the 401a, PP, Magneride, active valve exhaust at minimum. You will be a few grand cheaper with the loaded GT/CS, but you will not have 1) the tremec which is a much better trans than the getrag, 2) Michelins vs the Pirellis which come with the GT, 3) though the tire sizes are the same for both, the rims on the M1 ar 1/2 inch wider, 4) all the GT 350 and Gt 500 components for suspension, 5) resale, 6) uniqueness.

I decided to purchase a '22 M1 (I owned the '21 with the tremec, but sold last year) in Eruption green.
