Differences between the MT-82 vs. MT-82D4? BG fluid worth it?

Are there any significant differences between the MT-82 and MT-82D4? My transmission is a bit notchy and sometimes has trouble when shifting to the following gear. Does the BG fluid help with this?

I've owned a 2015 and a 2018 both with the MT-82. I also swapped both to the BG fluid and it made the most noticeable difference on the 2015. In fact, on the 2018 I couldn't tell much a of a difference at all.

I have exactly same impressions. Very little if any difference in 2018.

I just did this on my 2019 Bullitt. Synchro Shift II in the tranny and Ultra Guard LS 75w-140 in the differential. I’d say it feels about the same to me as before the swap. At least now I know that I have quality fluids in the tranny and diff. That, in and of itself is enough peace of mind for me.

Just did the change to the BG syncro shift in my 2019 Bullitt at 8k miles. Made a big difference; was totally worth it. May it differs from one MT-82 to another. Iffy quality control in a chinese-built transmisson, maybe?
