Since the first shipment already arrived and soon I'll receive my very own (color is still pending), I've seen a Triple Yellow GT Premium just yesterday, and I noticed some weird differences.
First of all, some required information you need to know. In my country, there's only one dealer for each brand, with many branches across the whole country, but all for the same owner. We don't have build & price, and we don't get to choose the the options. The car is available in 5 trims; V6, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT and GT Premium. Performance package is not offered but you get the 50 Years Appearance Package (without any extra charge) if you go with the Premium. Also any optional features or packages depend on whether the dealer ordered them or not (Eg. BLIS, Adaptive Cruise Control etc).
Since I knew I'll be getting the 50 Years AP, I started reading about it and looking at plenty of pictures to see what it adds to the "regular" GT Premium.
Now that I've seen the car in person, I was able to check for all the "Optional" features and see what's included and what's not. I've 2 weird things though.
First of all, the car comes equipped with the 50 Years AP, so it get the wheels, seats with cashmere stitching, faux gas cap, and everything else included in that package EXCEPT the grill. How? I don't understand how it comes with the regular GT grill with only the pony in it.
Second thing, the mirrors are painted black, on ALL models. Weren't they suppose to be painted the same color as the car?
Is this maybe because it's a different region (GCC) and not America? Taking another look at the brochure I've received I've noticed all the pictures of the GT have the black mirrors.
Either way I'm so excited to receive the car. And BTW, those are some HUGE brakes that come equipped!
