Weird that there's a 25HP loss due to moving the steering to the right side. Ford should have engineered their way around that.

For once, the US gets the cooler version. Wonder if people are doing USDM conversion in the UE.

Different exhaust, different emissions standards, different expectations. 25hp is not surprising.

Giant mirrors. And Rear deck lid is different too.

They did... that's how they got the car over there. The had to change the exhaust manifold design which causes a bit more restriction, length and bends which is why it kills the power. The CHP difference lost is doody by the time it makes it to the wheels. You could barely tell the difference between the EU spec and the US spec I'm sure.

For once? You should have seen the euro spec 5th gen Camaro, ugly tail lights and dumbo ears.

Interestingly, Ford Australia have told us that the power difference is due to differences in the way it is measured here and in the US

"A Ford spokesman explained the US cars are measured using the SAE method which allows the engine to be tested without any auxiliary systems (alternator, water pump, muffled exhaust, etc). The Australian cars use a DIN standard that includes those extra features which drain power for the test."

that is why I went to the trouble of getting a GT CS
There are also all the tech differences, that video does not mention
memory seats
Blis
Cross traffic
Collision warning
ACC
the different sized wheels, in the UK you can't buy a spare tire for the cars cause of the large Brembo brakes

That's how you get increased capital investment in tooling, and a addition body shop station, and more unique steering, components.

The European builds are already hit with additional cost and taxes as is.

Don't forget the steering wheel is on the other side. .....that's a big difference
Unfortunately Australians miss out on a lot of the cool things due to the Euro rules but I'd rather miss out on these than have no RHD Mustang.
We also dont get the US spec lower grill on the GT or the strut tower brace. On Australian cars our indicators are on the right hand side of the steering wheel and we dont get the sub woofer and no trim options except ebony.
