I dont think guessing at it is great idea.

A while back someone actually called Redline and they told him what to do for the 75w140 gear oil in a torsen. Soo, maybe call them up.

I could do that, yeah. Redlines document basically says though to start with none and then add an ounce until chatter stops, so I dunno.

Friction modifier isn't REQUIRED for proper operation. In SOME cases, slight chatter MAY be heard during slow speed cornering without the modifier. Older sensitive people driving stock cars are usually the only ones that filed complaints starting back around 1986.

Your Traction-Lok may perform better and last longer WITHOUT modifier.... FYI.

From quite a few gearbox/lubrication engineers over the years. Makes sense to me as well. In order to subdue clutch chatter, a small amount of friction has to be compromised.
