Hey folks, Enjoyed seeing everyone Saturday.. Some nice looking rides!
I've done the 3 sisters on bikes also. I would think the woop-di-doos on the one leg would be pretty hard on those lowered suspensions, but I'd be game.
For another suggestion, I've also done the Talimena Scenic Ride on Bikes and in all 3 of my Mustangs. It's Talihina OK, to Mena, Ar. Lunch at The Hatefull Hussy in downtown Talihina, OK was pretty darn good this past March.. Queen Wilhelmena State Park lodge should be open by August. It's a nice halfway point on the drive to take a break.. It would be a day trip but easily doable in a day..http://www.talimenascenicdrive.com/interpretive-guide/the-drive/

I did this before as well. It was an awesome ride.

What highway is that in the Hill country? I was just down there in Fredericksburg in June. The 10 mile stretch of highway from there to Enchanted Rock (965) was a lot of fun.

I haven't been to Arkansas in years but I remember hwy 7 from Hot Springs to Eureka Springs was a really good one.

The "sisters" are RR335, RR336, & RR337 down in the Hill Country.

I believe it's 336 that has the REALLY deep Woopties!

Yah, AR 7 is another "Scenic" drive in Arkansas.. Very pretty drive.. I ran that highway on the Wing when I did a Solo from Dallas to the St.Louis area one year..

Looks like you boys had a great time! Unfortunately shit happens and I was unable to make it.

Was anyone running an EB with aftermarket exhaust?

We didn't have any EB there. All 5.0 except one v6 I believe.
Actually rgingo has the EB.. in Magnetic. I think he was saying how he'd like to change his exhaust too.

Wish I'd have realized you had the MBRP's (Race). Would've liked to hear those even though I'm thinking Streets...

Yep, I'm the one with the 50-yr trimmed, tinted magnetic 2.3T and getting a MAP exhaust installed next week .

Just got back from a 600-mile trip to Fredricksburg......I took the route I-30 to I-20 just past Weatherford and got on 281 S., then 377 to 16 down to Fredricksburg. WHAT A BLAST! That 16 was like a rollercoaster ride. The Mustang handled like butter, making entries and exits go very smoothly at elevated speeds. Since I don't have the PP, had a bit of sway in the corners, but no drama; however, the suspension almost completely removed all the roughness from the road. Very relaxing and sporty driving experience. Reminded me of when I went on motorcyle runs with my modded Triumph Thunderbird. By the way, lots of good beer in Fredricksburg.

There's some good wine there too! Wineries everywhere. We visited Becker vineyards, very nice. For $15 you get 6 samples and a wine glass to take home.
Even got a free tour of the facilities.

I found that going through Llano was a lot more enjoyable and there was less traffic than trying to come in through Marble Falls.

My office is near the parkway tavern y'all did your meet and greet at, would love to join you folks next time around! I have the 2015 Ruby Red Eco premium and looking to tune in end of this month. Would like to see how a tuned Eco compares to the V8 throttle-wise and maybe get some tips, still new to the pony world. :)
