DFW M6G Meet - June 2016

Monthly mustang6g.com DFW S550 meet. We meet on the third Saturday each month for lunch and car talk. We use this time to discuss upcoming automotive events and to schedule and plan future meetings, photo shoots and cruises.

This is the same day as Cowtown Cars & Coffee at Texas Motor Speedway. A group of us will leave TMS between 9:30 and 10:30 (depending on when the C&C crowd starts to thin out) and cruise out to Southlake together.

All 2015+ S550 Mustangs are welcome - V6, EB, GT, GT350, bone stock, modded, race car...whatever. Come out, enjoy some great food and a margarita or a beer, and see and hear other Mustangs. Feel free to bring a friend or spouse with you, too.

BTW, I'm open to suggestions for a lunch spot for June. The restaurant employees were the ones who put the handprints all over the cars. I've tried contacting the owner about it, but I haven't gotten any response. I'd have still been willing to take the crew back there if they had handled the situation properly, but the lack of response has really turned me off.

Any recommendations for a good lunch spot in the Southlake/Grapevine area that opens around 10:00 am and can handle a party of 20+ on a Saturday?

I guess my car was too dirty for them, cause I didn't find any hand prints. I really enjoyed the food and the service wasn't bad for such a large party.

Mi Dias Main St. Grapevine -has a really nice patio without direct sun, food is great! might be a little pricey for some? getting there at 11 on Saturday wouldn't need to call ahead.

Flips off South Main St. Grapevine - also has a nice patio, plenty parking, cheaper food and drinks

Or to heck with it and roll back to Esparza's? maybe take over the patio this time lol.

Anyone up for finding a park and cooking out? I know transporting food and charcoal could be a problem, but it is an option.

Only place I know that has parking and seating for 20+ is Cantina Laredo at Hall Johnson and 121 in Grapevine.

edit: Uncle Julio's in Grapevine has a lot of parking. Not sure if they would seat 20+ at one table.
