I just noticed Red2 has 435 guests. Looks like we need a stadium

Yeah, all of our previous lunches have been at 11:00. The reason we talked about changing the time is because Cowtown Cars & Coffee tends to clear out between 9:30 and 10:00. It's only a fifteen minute drive to Southlake, so it leaves use with a little over an hour to kill. Not long enough to do anything or go anywhere, but just long enough to get bored.going to hard to find another place that is open at 10 and has a private room for 20+. Options open up at 11
Wait I must have missed a conversation at some point. How did you find out it was the employees who did the hand prints all over the cars? somebody leave a dash cam running or something?
I guess my car was too dirty for them, cause I didn't find any hand prints. I really enjoyed the food and the service wasn't bad for such a large party.
It was actually the same guys that moved their cars out of the way for us. When Chance left to take his girl to work, they were "posing" with their hands on Nelson's car (the DIB RS2 w/o supercharger). They likely would have gotten to all of them if Chance hadn't stopped them.+1 on this!.. how'd we find this out? That's no bueno!
Mi Dias Main St. Grapevine -has a really nice patio without direct sun, food is great! might be a little pricey for some? getting there at 11 on Saturday wouldn't need to call ahead.
Flips off South Main St. Grapevine - also has a nice patio, plenty parking, cheaper food and drinks
Or to heck with it and roll back to Esparza's? maybe take over the patio this time lol.
I'm not really a fan of Mexican food, which is why I've been trying to find places with a little more variety. Flips may fit the bill - they have decent parking, tons of seating, and a good variety of options on the menu, not to mention the bars (yes, plural).Only place I know that has parking and seating for 20+ is Cantina Laredo at Hall Johnson and 121 in Grapevine.
edit: Uncle Julio's in Grapevine has a lot of parking. Not sure if they would seat 20+ at one table.
That's actually a great idea, Andy. I'm in!Anyone up for finding a park and cooking out? I know transporting food and charcoal could be a problem, but it is an option.
Andy
Damn, Ron! Are you planning to fit them all in your S550?I just noticed Red2 has 435 guests. Looks like we need a stadium![]()
Looks like it has a good variety on the menu. Question - do they smoke inside? Not a fan of eating in a restaurant full of smoke.Flips off South Main St. Grapevine - also has a nice patio, plenty parking, cheaper food and drinks
Word^^Looks like it has a good variety on the menu. Question - do they smoke inside? Not a fan of eating in a restaurant full of smoke.

They have a glassed off smoking section. They sit and kind of die in their own fumes.Word^^
Looks like it has plenty of parking if we get there early enough. And trees for shade.IF ever this is something people want to do at some point, a place I find workable is http://www.eulesstx.gov/pacs/parks/BobEden.htm
11 Tables & 3 Grills and more cool junk.

Bummer! I haven't been to the Grapevine location, but the Fort Worth location is non-smoking inside. I may check out the Grapevine location this weekend to scope out seating options and how smoky it is indoors. They have a glassed off smoking section. They sit and kind of die in their own fumes.
Cafe Express looks promising. La Madeleine may be a little pricey for some.Cafe Express in the Southlake Town Center. We wouldn't be able to put tables together but there is an area when you walk in to the right that has a few tables that would hold 20 people.
La Madeline in Grapevine has a private room they let people use. We could arrange the tables anyway we like.
I had never heard of this place, but it looks interesting. Parking isn't group-friendly, though (unless I'm missing a private parking lot specifically for the restaurant). How about Wilhoite's?
I'm not wild about the larger chains, but the seating is very conducive to large groups.Spring Creek Grill next to Joe's Crab Shack 121/114/Main Street in Grapevine. They have a large area that could hold 40+ people.
This looks like a great spot. Those power lines directly over the parking lot, though. I can already hear the birds!IF ever this is something people want to do at some point, a place I find workable is http://www.eulesstx.gov/pacs/parks/BobEden.htm
