Seems abotu rightI just had a mail from my dealer. They have an estimated build date of "April". My RS was built on Thursday so I am feeling s but spoilt right now.
Yeah 'stang takes 7-10months, RS takes about 4-5 months, because of the travel time for the stang really.I reckon the lead times are pretty similar, it's the shipping that extends the Mustang lead time. My car was actually ordered on Jan 4th and is being built in April. My RS was a cancelled order that I had time to change.
Did you get the info on the W&W tracking site?At last, mine is booked on the Tijuca, leaving Baltimore on the 12th, arriving Zebrugge on the 23rd
Woohoo! we're boat buddies, just checked mine.At last, mine is booked on the Tijuca, leaving Baltimore on the 12th, arriving Zebrugge on the 23rd
Looks like 4 of us are on the Tijuca!!Hurrah, I'm on the Tijuca as well.
I have been told by my dealer that he expects to see it around the 22nd April.Yeah mine is one of them.... ive found you can actually track the ship via live GPS on www.vesselfinder.com :-)
I'm still searching for the captain's phone number so I can give him a call if he drops behind schedule at any point :-)
Karen emailed me this morning and said the current turn round in Zebrugge is typically 5 days, then ship to Southampton (2 days), then hopefully on a transporter within 4 days (as very little storage space at Southampton docks), so April is very achievable, I'm still hoping for early to mid-April in time for the Bank Hols.
Fingers crossed !!!
