Looks fantastic....out of interest how long did it take from arriving at Liverpool to reaching the dealer ?
Looks like mine only took about a week from arrival at Liverpool to my dealer, if that helps.

Mine’s a week old already. Here’s some pictures to keep those of you still waiting for your Mustangs going, and for anyone who wants to see the Ceramic interior. Note my short throw shifter. It is transmitting a little whirring noise from the gearbox but seems to be less noticeable now than a week ago. Nice to use though.

Interesting there a few differences between the custom pack and yours. the main ones seem to be the leather wrapped centre console (note stitching) and the door trims are different (sadly my photo isn't good enough to show it). Will post more when I get it on Friday. Quite why you can't have the ceramic leather with custom pack is odd because you have black doors and centre console anyway.

There’s more to the story - when I was told the options had been changed after I ordered the car and I had to have a black interior, I cancelled the order. The dealer then came up with a plan to buy in a leather console and swop it over without me knowing. That’s why the car was with them, supposedly hidden in another depot, waiting for it to arrive.

Turns out the console wasn’t coming because I have ceramic leather that comes with Lunar stitching and the stitching colors available on the centre consoles are only to match certain car colors, black, red, blue, and silver. And green of course for the bullit. I said black would be fine so console due in a week or so. When they fit it they will check on my short throw shifter lever to make sure the soundproofing is properly in place.

The ceramic interior comes with soft touch door card inserts to match. They are different again from the Option Pack inserts, and very nice too, with Lunar stitching don’t you know!

Thanks for the additional photos, I'm still unsure when I will get mine so staring at your pictures definitely helps keep me sane.

Almost 800 miles on the clock now, thanks to a weekend on the mainland. It gets smoother and freer every day, and I’m sticking to old fashioned running in procedures. I would urge everyone with a new mustang to be gentle, don’t labour the engine and don’t rev it much in the first 500 miles. it really makes a difference. Don’t listen to peeps saying you don’t need to run in modern cars, believe me it’s worth it. What’s to lose anyway?

I picked mine up yesterday and have managed 200ish miles already. My run in procedure is to give the car plenty of time to reach operating temperature with gentle driving. After which I’ve been varying the revs when appropriate but not go beyond 4000rpm. I intend to take it very easy for 1k miles. I think that’s what the handbook may say but I’ve not looked at that yet.

Good news all round with folks picking up their 'ponies' after the long wait...
Here is a wonderful scene from last Thursday when wifey and I first get to see 'Lenny' in the flesh.

I too will be taking it gently for the first 1k for the good of the car, but also so I can learn how it feels and reacts as it's all new to me too.

Where on ETIS does it display the cars location? I have just checked my Mustang Order and it shows all the details about the car when i put in the VIN number but no mention of its location.

I don't think ETIS shows location.

Ahh OK its just in the stevelampey post above he mentions in the signature section that the location of his Mustang was updated on ETIS.
