Hello New England Community😃, good day to all... I have a sea of mixed feelings in my mind about deleting the resonator... I've been reading on the internet about whether it's legal or not... and the possible drone sound that some youtube videos talk about. I've seen some brands like ford performance, flowmaster, borla, etc... but I'd like to read your experiences about modifying the Cat-Back Exhaust and recommendations which is very important. Thanks

Resonator delete isn't illegal other than maybe commifornia. You choose between x pipe and h pipe. X is more power and raspier, H is a deeper throatier sound. Brand of x or h truly doesn't mater! I did the h pipe and have 0 drone!

It's completely legal. The only thing that would cause any trouble legally is when you mess with the cats. Anything downstream of the cats is fair play.

When I bought my car, the previous owner had done a resonator delete and replaced it with an H-pipe (not sure of the brand). It sounded great. Nice, throaty proper muscle sound and didn't get raspy at the top end like an X-pipe may get. I switched to full Borla ATAK catback because I wanted more loud, but the H-pipe sounded great too. I got a lot of complements on the sound

Edit: I didn't really experience any drone with the resonator delete

I currently have the Borla Switchfire on
My 22 GT. I’m pretty happy with it!Deep in the low RPM and has a real deep rasp at WOT.

A comment from Down-Under in Australia, I had a Steeda H Pipe fitted to my 2019 Bullitt Mustang by a muffler expert and he said that the car would breathe much better and I would pick up between 3 and 5 horsepower. The car sounds like a true classic Ford V8 muscle car and you can modulate the sound with active exhaust from quiet, to normal, to sport to race track. It has a deep throaty burble at low revs to a classic V8 roar and rumble at higher revs. Go with the H Pipe, you will not be disappointed.

I see a lot of friends here chose Borla. Thanks for taking your time, I appreciate it.

Did the Steeda X-pipe resonator delete with Active Exhaust. Sounds amazing and zero drone. Saves some weight too. :)

One of the first mods I did was the resonator delete. I went with Steeda H pipe and with the active exhaust and kept everything else factory. I’m very happy. Not too loud or raspy in Sport mode and it’s quiet in quiet mode too.

Steeda H-Pipe or X-Pipe with Active exhaust is a great add ... compliments the Active Exhaust very well!
