Excuse the dirty decklid and tail-lights, but a couple days ago when I installed this brand new MP Concepts decklid I noticed that the finished result was somewhat of an eye sore, which was the fact that the fitment was awful to say the least, both top corners don't sit flush and you can visibly see that clips don't go fully in...Is this common? Does this got a fix or did I just get a faulty decklid? Yes I've tried pushing the decklid into place and try to get the decklid to snap into place but it doesn't snap when I push it in as far as I can and when it is pushed in as far as it can the corner still don't sit flush, any more and I feel like I'm going to break the decklid in half...I used the OEM Hardware so I wouldn't know where I went wrong...

The aftermarket cover I had did the same thing. It also eventually spiderwebbed/got some weird stress marks. I am back to OEM. The fitment of OEM is also not great. :)

The OEM screws are adjustable. You can move the corners of the lights in and out so they sit flush with the decklid.

You can adjust the decklid panel, it is pretty easy.

The first thing you want to do is remove the screws on the inside of the trunk panel. You will need to remove the trunk liner and the cover tabs to access this which is easy.

From here this is where you can adjust the decklid panel.

If it is a pushing up adjustment, you will need to really push the clips into place to hold tighter.

If it is a side-to-side adjustment or to recenter the decklid panel on the trunk, this will be more difficult as all 4 clips will need to slide to your desired position.

Personally I would recommend only small adjustments when keeping the panel on the trunk.
If the panel needs a larger adjustment to be center, then I strongly recommend removing it from the trunk, then realigning it to avoid damage to the trunk lid.

The metal clips that hold the decklid on to the trunk are not friendly.. that is probably the toughest part of removing it from the trunk.
