I am going to start doing a few mods on my GT just trying to decide which one first
I want to do the exhaust, shifter, steering wheel and wheels/tires I have the funds for either the shifter or steering wheel but I think the steering wheel can wait
With that said I am looking to do the shifter or save some more and do the exhaust.
I am leaning towards doing the shifter first (MGW) then moving to the Exhaust.
what do y'all think

Exhaust because it's a mustang. Then fix the wheel gap. Then get mgw. Go ahead and get on the waiting list for the mgw in the meantime.

Agreed with above. Exhaust first then springs then wheels.

From your list. Exhaust, shifter, steering wheel than wheels/tires.

Tint, exhaust, then work on suspension/handling.

For me:

-lowered
-exhaust
-tint
-wheels/tires

That's the "foundation" to me, and then after that start buttoning down each area as you decide a new thing to focus on.

I did springs (and struts), wheels and tires first. I actually had the parts before the car, then Brembo's (have an auto trans), and steering wheel. Then black 5.0 badges and leather shifter and parking boot. No exhaust change, I actually like the stock sound.

I've seen a few people mention the shifter. What's wrong with the stock unit?

Already have the tint and FP K-brace on it,along with weathertech liners
Cant really afford to go with corsa or borla, will probably go with MBRP
The reason I am leaning towards the shifter is alot of times when shifting from 2-3 it will gate into 5th

Having done exhaust most recently, I would do it first if I were to do it over again. It adds a ton to making the driving experience fun.

Personally, the Steeda shifter really made driving my GT/PP quite a lot nicer. That, and a fluid swap. If I had to do it again, I'd do that first. (I would also never even consider doing business with a company that rhymes with "Roomba.")

it's a sloppy plastic notchy mess. mgw makes the car totally feel different... it's like testosterone for your car.
