Ford racing blower vs. Vmp vs. Roush. All the same blower right? just different tunes? The head units are the same inside and out besides the name on the blower right? I like the fact these blowers make instant boost and make more tq then centrifugal blowers. From my understanding(correct me if I'm wrong) the TVS blower hits harder down low, pulls all the way to 7000 rpm then level off. The Centrifugal starts making power later on in the rpm range, around 3 to 4000 rpm, keeps pulling way past 7000 rpm without leveling off, it just keeps climbing. For racing, a Centrifugal blower would work better since you build boost a little later providing more traction down low. I'm having a hard time choosing because neither the centrifugal or TVS has the total package. I have the PP 3.73 gears, so I feel like if I get the TVS blower, all I'll do is destroy my tires, but I'll probably have the biggest smile on my face while doing it, but when someone wants to try me on the street I want to hook and go and blow them a way. Since I plan on never pulling past 7000 rpm, since I'm not going to replace the oil pump gears, maybe just the balancer( ATI Harmonic balancer) any power I make after 7000 rpm is useless. Just because I think the few people breaking oil pump gears are pushing their motors way to hard past the limiter and tearing shit up. (my opinion maybe I'm wrong). I don't plan on putting slicks on, upgrading half shafts or putting it on the track. I mostly do roll racing. What's the best setup for roll racing? Another issue, the main issue is the $$$$$. I recently found out I can buy the Ford racing blower for $5,900. Basic setup 670hp at the crank package. 570hp 600hp at the wheel? keep my warranty for 3 more years up to 36,000 miles. I'm already at 21,000 miles. OR go with VMP for $6525 with hopefully a 10% discount and get everything I need to make 650hp at the wheel or more? (duel fan heat exchanger bigger injectors etc etc) but warranty goes out the window. ORRRR buy a Paxton for $5,500 -$5,900 and make around 650hp+ ORRRR get a D1 Procharger for 1000 more then a Paxton. I know I rambled a little bit but thanks for your time and input

Nope. Whipple and Kenne Bell are Twin Screw. VMP, Roush, Eaton are TVS (roots) and they blow exactly the opposite direction.

As far as getting the FMPP blower (Roush) and getting the warranty, it stops at 36k on the clock, not 36k from when you put it on. So you'd have 15k *if you paid for the warranty*.

Rob, I'd go with a beefcake special Paxton since you have the mt82, PD blowers are more violent down low, and it's hard to beat the pricing of that kit. If you were auto I'd root for the TVS. Whichever direction you go get id1000's and a tune from Ken Bjonnes or Lund. Boosted Performance could install everything in a day for about $1000 total, including bap. Let me know if I can help with anything.

my beefcake special package with the paxton is hard to beat, especially with a manual car and pp pack gearing

the nice thing is our package has big injectors over 900hp intercooler and has 8 second potential

:)

Go VMP, Roush or Whipple. If you want good power with upgraded injectors and custom tune we can provide the complete custom package for you. Either Paxton, Vortech, VMP, Roush, Whipple. A complete custom package with a custom tuning fit for your needs.
