Deceleration Gurgle and Pop

Does anyone know if the s550 can be tuned to pop, gurgle, "backfire" etc when letting off the throttle or when downshifting? My current tuner informed me there is no decel fuel cutoff or decal spark parameters that can be changed.

I trust what he says to be true but I am wondering if there are other tricks that can be done to accomplish the aggressive decel my s197 had. I have a weak spot for that sound.

For the record, I have borla atak 3in cat back and no cats. Thanks guys!

I have a Solo performance Mach IV and it gurgles a little

If you have a loud enough exhaust it should do it anyway. Mine did it after I put my Roush Axle-backs on, before I even had a tune or an X-pipe or anything else on the car.

I was told the s550 can not do it (like any other model). I don't have cats or resonators along with a 3in Stainless catback so i know my exhaust isn't the problem. When decelerating, the car almost immediately goes into decel fuel cut off and AFR goes to 29.9, meaning all fuel is cut.

I don't get why corsa would be different considering borla is practically the same. My friend has a s197 with identical exhaust setup and mods and his gurgles and popes like a sob so I know my exhaust is unlikely the issue. Thanks for the input though, the research continues

I have the "straight pipe" equivalent Solo Street Race with a manual 6 speed. Mine pops, spits, and gurgles all the time.

i only have a x pipe and stock mufflers and i get alittle gurgle between shifts at about 3200 rpm , im not tuned or anything yet

This regularly happens on my Roush axleback's with H-pipe, even on lower RPMs
