Rev dips on acceleration and deceleration

If I hold the gear and apply full acceleration, revs will initially climb, then dip, then climb. The opposite is also true, if I hold gear, then remove any throttle input, the revs will drop, then climb, then drop again. You can see this in the graphs below. Still under warrant. Local dealer states no fault codes, and explains you get extra response when in sports mode. OMG. They also told me the paddle shifters were not designed to shift from 1st to 2nd.

Appreciate if anyone had any ideas so I can educate these idiots.
