The fenders, hood, nose, splitter and radiator support all have to be changed out. The carbon composite rad support allows for all the changes for the lower profile front end. A lot of work...There are guys who are running those body kits out there on their GTs. Fitment should not be an issue with the S550s unless I am missing something other than the front it a bit wider.
I understand that in Germany it is opposite. Rare to see an AMG or BMW M with it's badging. It's considered ostentatious. I'd much rather a debadged car, branding isn't sexy to me.Exactly. You can add all of the 350 looks for a hell of a lot cheaper on a v6/eb s550, then getting a gt350 and removing the badges. It looks clean, but why? I see debadged bmw/lexus/benz cars all the time. why are they debadged? Probably because it's the base model.
Yeah, because thats the only thing that tells that car apart from those 2 models.....:headbonk:...Debadge so it can look like a v6/eco boost models? Sounds like a good idea.
Hard to be stealthy when the car is already loud. :tsk:

Sorry to break your heart, but those are the things people will notice, first is the sound and how the body looks.Yeah, because thats the only thing that tells that car apart from those 2 models.....:headbonk:...addle:......

But if the only crowd that debadges is the lower crowd, then people won't have to guess, they would know. Gotta throw the people for a loop! I guess you could say I'm doing it for the little guysSorry to break your heart, but those are the things people will notice, first is the sound and how the body looks.
Just saying that you really can't be stealthy when your car is loud. Imo, leave the debadging to the base model buying v6/eb/benz 250/is 250 car crowd. Owners debadge those cars so people wouldnt know its the base model. In case you guys forgot, this is America, buy shit you dont need so you look good in front of people you dont know.![]()
Shit, I'm just de-badging my V6 so I can put, IMO, better looking custom Cyclone badges on it. And by that, only Mustang or car fanatics will know what that is. Regardless, it's still a base model, of which I'm well aware of. And truely, I could care less if people know it's the base model.Sorry to break your heart, but those are the things people will notice, first is the sound and how the body looks.

My comment really wasn't a shot at anyone who drives a base car. If you think about it, there is a base model of everything. My 5.0 is the base v8 model of mustangs (boss being 2nd, and gt500 being top of the line), but that's getting into petty semantics.Shit, I'm just de-badging my V6 so I can put, IMO, better looking custom Cyclone badges on it. Lol and I wouldn't buy a Mustang if I really wanted to look good in front of the in-crowd. If I wanted to stick to the true American way, I'd change how I currently live my life, try and become rich with a reality TV show, do some shit to get on the news and get a cult following of losers, start a GoFundMe account for something I don't need and by a Lamborghini or Ferrari with the donations.
Boom, don't need it and everyone will notice me![]()

Lol I know that wasn't a bash, but I thought it was funny (and true) of how said that we buy these things more or less for attention. Cause there are assholes that like to skip the networking and working in general and pull the method I so lovingly described just to get a damn car. But that's a whole other topic so I'm gonna stop that now.My comment really wasn't a shot at anyone who drives a base car. If you think about it, there is a base model of everything. I started from the bottom and had shitty jobs and drove a 93 camry for awhile. Before the camry I had an 06 GTO. I networked and honestly got lucky and I'm fortunate enough to live in Silicon Valley and have decent toys. We all have to start somewhere. I wish I was in my mid 20s and planning to get a new viper before I hit 30. But I'm 31 and still a year or 2 off that goal.
I'm not a fan of debadging, but as evidenced by the sleek gt350 badgeless cars, they look sweet. I would only remove the lame gt350 side badges and keep the front and rear ones if I ever owned a 350.![]()
I think the worst offender I've seen is a 300 with phantom front end, Bentley badges, and "Old Gangster" on the side. There's not enough face palms in the world for that.Lol I know that wasn't a bash, but I thought it was funny (and true) of how said that we buy these things more or less for attention. And I'm certain a majority of the people on here started from the bottom and worked there way up. I drove a 06 Mustang that had problems out the wazoo while working a shitty retail job before I took more chances and rose my way to better things and a career path I wanted.
And my only beef with de-badging or badging in general is the people who put badges on their cars that don't even belong or is the wrong model type. We all know or have seen the Mustang V6 with the GT badges or even Camaros RS with the SS badges on it. Or in my local case, I saw a stock 2015 GT with a Shelby SuperSnake emblem underneath the 5.0 :tsk:
