Is anyone else planning on doing this? I was hoping the GT350 on the sides were not aligned with holes in the fender like the 5.0 emblems on the GT. I want my car to look as clean and stealth as possible. If the Cobra emblems aren't removable, I'll at least black them out somehow.

Debadge so it can look like a v6/eco boost models? Sounds like a good idea.

Hard to be stealthy when the car is already loud. :tsk:

This is one car I won't mind the badging being left.

I do debadge some of my cars, but not limited run models. Plus the snake looks pretty cool on the back and it's relatively small

It's one of the features that I like. Similar enough to look the same as a regular Mustang to everyone, different enough that only people who know about the GT350, can tell the difference. I don't mind that Voodoo roar breaking the dull A to B engine noise around me. Just wanted to tone down the visuals to my liking

Save the debadging for the import crowd.

Since when is this owned by the "import crowd"? It's a freaking Mustang not a Koenigsegg.

I'd like to remove the GT350 badges from the front fenders but I'm fine with the front and rear badges. Unfortunately I'm sure there are alignment holes.

I used to debadge lower line models that come with higher line cosmetics to keep people guessing (like the non-M cars with M packages, non-AMG cars with AMG appearance packages, etc.). Never did it on a higher line model and won't do it.

IMO - many people just feel they NEEEEEED to mod something. De-badging is for those people.

Yeah I feel the same. I like that the Shelby badges are subtle. I don't love the GT350 badges on the fenders

I'll probably just leave them alone, though.

Yep all the V6 and EB cars have flared front fenders with vents, hood vent, big ass brakes and 11" wide wheels.
Unless Ford or a company like AM is going to offer GT350 front and rear body panels like they did with the 2007-14 Shelby GT500. There are guys who are running those body kits out there on their GTs. Fitment should not be an issue with the S550s unless I am missing something other than the front it a bit wider.

Exactly. You can add all of the 350 looks for a hell of a lot cheaper on a v6/eb s550, then getting a gt350 and removing the badges. It looks clean, but why? I see debadged bmw/lexus/benz cars all the time. why are they debadged? Probably because it's the base model.

As much as I am not a fan of doing that, it would be something to consider when I get an ecoboost. At least until I can afford the real thing, even add the Shelby style 2.3 Turbo badges to show it is not a real 350. Do it tastefully and not over the top. Like I also said before, it also ll depends on how the front end fits because it is wider and possibly assembly is different over a regular S550.
