Mullinax Ford in New Smyrna sold me mine at x-plan off the showroom floor. It is a bit of a hike for you, but may be worth it.

For those of you who got X-Plan prices, what was the amount out the door?

Two out of the last three cars I bought online..paid below MSRP on both and one of them, a Volvo, flew me to Sweden and let me drive it around Scandinavia for 3 weeks and flew me and my wife home. My 2015 Mustang I was able to buy at dealer invoice with my own financing and no dealer add-on surprises. I even came in with my own financing and they matched it...2.34 percent..It is all about the research. You'll love the car even more when you put yourself in the drivers seat. It's worth the work in the end..

Unfortunately, no dealership has any obligation to sell a car for any demanded price. People are paying at or OVER sticker right now for these Mustangs because they are in short supply and with long wait times to build sometimes are in very high demand. Some of the LEs are selling $10k+ over sticker. It's business, they can sell them at whatever price they want to; and you are free to go to a competitor dealership as well.

I can tell you I personally got my car through this dealer and walked in and an hour later had my car ordered on X-plan. It is my 2nd Mustang with the same sales guy (none of the people you mentioned), so maybe that was a factor. They will take X-plan which is at invoice pricing (plus a few hundred in fees).

I actually had my car ordered in the system by Joe, who is one of the managers, and he seemed ok to me.

I walked in with my X-Plan proof, X-plan PIN, and a sheet of every feature I wanted with the coding. I knew exactly what it would cost on X-plan, what invoice was, and was MSRP was; a whole folder of info (not that I needed up needed most of it as it was no-hassle)

I don't know you or how things panned out, but it sounds like you went in there demanding which is the wrong attitude to negotiate with. You are free to find another dealer, but many are not selling far below MSRP right now in South Florida because of demand. I haven't seen a dealership around with more than 10 in stock, and only 2 or 3 are GTs; and most manuals.

You're best bet is join one of the clubs described around here and get X-plan. It is no haggle, the pricing is set by Ford and the can only charge you so many extra fees by Ford's rules. It'll cost you $40-50 to join and get x-plan. Otherwise, expect a long wait around here because no one is dealing on price since there is so little inventory.

My build is below, $39,200 out the door including tax, destination, all fees, title/registration, everything. I don't know how much your approved for but you wont get out the door on a premium for less than about $40k even with X-plan.

P.S I saw the black PP GT manual in the showroom when I ordered mine 11/8, and it looked just fine to me. It actually sold that day. I don't think a little clumsy shifting hurt anything or stepping on the gas. People who buy off the lot understand they've been test driven and by who knows who or how. This is a Mustang they can take a little hard driving (actually quite a lot and people drag race them)

If you already had an argument with them though I wouldn't go back now. Just go over to Plantation or Pines Ford. Im pretty sure they will take X-plan

300A GT PP Recaro $33,670 + TAX (6.25) Title = 35904.78

Not bad on a $37,015 MSRP car.

Plus destination fee (usually $825) and the doc fee the dealership can charge you (I think $100 tops).

Xplan on a GT/GT Premium is very generally $1,500-2,000 below MSRP.

And $1250 in rebates ;)
True, if you get the car before Jan 5th, but he/she hasn't even ordered so didn't mention that as very unlikely.

I'm def using my EAA 750 and the Ford 500 when I pick mine up Xmas week.

Out the door, $39,348 for a GT Premium PP with premium trim. Taxes may be different depending on your area. Before taxes it was $37447 minus the $500, total $36947. They also said that if there are any additional incentives when my mustang is delivered then I will get those too.

Out the door with X-Plan, 750 cert, 500 rebate, and 500 student rebate = 38,388 ish with a possible additional 500 for next year rebate which would give me 37,888 ish out the door

Right now my current best offer from a dealer is 39,800 out the door.

From my understanding, the X-Plan price is fixed? What I mean by that is, say I go with my current best offer of 39,800 - would I be able to throw X-Plan discount on top of that or would it be more of a clean slate ending up at 38,388ish possible 37,888ish out the door?

Appreciate any input.
