Does Ford prioritize dealerships (by the distance from Michigan)?
I have been tracking vehicles through Ford Inventory/Cotus.
Not a single Mustang has been shipped to Minnesota/Western Wisconsin.
Cotus shows 'in order processing/Production/Awaiting Shipment'...the earliest delivery 'estimate' is the first of November.

I believe that the priorities are based on the number of Mustangs shipped per dealer.

Allocations would vary geographically in that different cars are purchased in different ratios in different geographic areas, and allocations would reflect that. For example, nobody here drives pickup trucks except construction contractors, so you'll only see a handful of F-150's on dealer lots (and almost all of them base stripper models), but you'll see endless seas of Escapes. I'd imagine that in the Minnesota / Wisconsin area Mustangs wouldn't be as prevalent as in, say, Florida, and so the allocations would be shifted to reflect that.

I checked the entire NW region today (5 states) and no '15 Mustangs are showing on lots. Plenty in transit and at the plant, but zero delivered as of yet.

Just heads up, cotus is sometimes (often according to my dealer) behind once it goes in transit. It'll be on the lot for a couple days before it shows delivered.

I don't use cotus, I use Ford's dealer-only Vehicle Locator and Vehicle Visibility programs. Additionally, I have an account with BNSF Railway and can track VIN's as they travel to the NW.

Currie Ford in Frankfort, Il had one a couple of weeks ago. It was an inventory car and I had the opportunity to drive it on a Friday (but sadly didn't because of other commitments and time restraints), and then Saturday it had a deposit on it and was gone by Monday.

If dealer requests for it to go into storage... it will still show in transit since dealer has not taken delivery.... just what I am seeing in the status..
