Sure can.

Do you have a power management module fitted to the dashcam? I suspect not. The purpose of these is that you can set a voltage limit that when reached, the dashcam is turned off so it doesn't drain the battery.

This is where Ford's electronics suck compared to others, The cigarette lighter plug's power doesn/t switch off like it does in other cars. I wasn't aware of this but luckily the battery didn't die but now I have to pull out the charger every time i am parking the car

Fitted one of these in 20 minutes on a GT Convertible.
The factory integrated look is what sold me on it.
Plug into OBD port makes it oh so simple, and the Plug is well designed so
the cable exits cleanly and out of sight, out of mind.
Easy to setup, even though the IOS App is in chinglish.
Good thing is it DOESNT show speed on the captured videos. ;)

Just a heads up for F770 users. I fitted one in my Ranger on the weekend and tried using a Samsung EVO+ 128gb and get an error 90% of the time I insert it. Had a bit of a play around trying to get it to work without any luck so did some research and it appears the latest 128gb cards something has changed (chips used in manufacture probably) and they're no longer compatible. So far no one has identified a 128gb card that works reliably. I've got a slightly older one that I'm yet to try but looks like I may be stuck using a 64gb card.

To all asking about installation of a Thinkware for the Mustang:

It is a simple job and takes about 30-60 minutes. It will require, at a minimum, some small pliers and a 10mm (I think - might be an 8mm) socket.

I will see if I can pull a guide together if there is interest. (maybe PM me if you are interested so I know who to tag in it)

Well I've had a chance to try my older Samsung card now and it's working. If that changes I'll report back. Both are 128gb Samsung EVO+ bought from the same supplier. I do know they sold out between me buying the first one and the newer one. New one was purchased early May and doesn't work in the F770. Older one was bought mid March and seems to work just fine. I don't believe there's anything wrong with the newer card as it's working fine in other devices.

Hopefully a firmware revision will fix the issue but for now it looks like it's true, recent/current production 128gb cards aren't compatible.

EDIT: nope, spoke too soon. Card doesn't work reliably. Drove for almost an hour and it was fine. When I restarted the car to come back it immediately gave an error. Ejecting, restarting etc couldn't get it to work again. Popped a 64gb in and it worked right away.
