I felt like I have to introduce this dashcam. It makes good video, looks good and is easy to use. Bang for the bucks.

With the ODB connector does this mean that telemetric info (speed, RPM etc) is/can attached to the video / photo? (be a game changer if it does) or is it only for power?

Yes It is only for power right now. Takes the fuse box work out of the equation.

New development that my startup firm is working on reads engine data and comes with 4G/IOT connection and GPS. (www.skygrid.io)

Nice & discrete cam IMHO, pity it's not a dual dash-cam though.

Yeah it certainly looks a bit more discreet and OEM than others, but a shame its not dual-channel.

Appreciate the feedback.

There is a dual Dual Cam add-on. The rear camera is a small cubic cam @480p. Requires wiring to the front camera for power and control. The front camera assembly look exactly the same, only the wiring differs a bit. In fact from the app snapshot, you can see it is possible to switch camera view between those two. Let us know if this would be a more suitable product.

Here is picture of it (IMHO, its ugly):

The current version that we are promoting is more aimed at achieving the most dire need of front facing monitoring with minimum installation effort that could be done by anyone in < 20mins.

There is another version that offers 360 degree camera and integrates into something like a aftermarket Telsa style screen (which I have previously demoed in one of the threads here). So you can get the aerial view of everything surrounds your stang. Those however come with pros and cons and are super niche, certainly not for everyone.

Yeah, I'd agree with you there! Hah.

I'd agree that easy installation and a discrete unit is attractive. Presumably the OBDII version has some sort of in-line fuse or something? I could just imagine Ford in the event of an ECU problem trying to blame having something plugged into the port full-time.
