Any dash cams with a standard 1/4" screw'type mointing bracket? I want to mount it from the passenger headrest so I can just run power from the center console.
My Mobius ActionCam has the standard mounting thread. An incredible camera too. Auto start/stop and motion sensing for when your car is parked. Our 2015 Mustangs have an active power port for like 90 minutes after you lock the car so it'll record any motion around your car.

Jimmy, have you checked out this Mobius ActionCam? I looked at it on Amazon and it's got some positive reviews, and according to a few it works perfectly as a dash cam, since it loops, and we can just plug it in via USB from the center armrest (it has small channels to feed cables through, it's how I have my lightning cable coming out of it) and use a headrest mount to mount the standard 1/4" screw.

Have you found a headrest mount that has this?

Looks pretty good! I was thinking of going with this:

looks like it would work perfectly with the camera!

I got this one for my Fiance since she drives in Tampa all the time. I know it's not super cheap or anything, but it is nice and picture quality is very nice.

this is how most dash cams look like, the only thing i dont like about big cameras like this is the fact that its visible on the windshield and may attract thieves the same way navigation systems attracted them

My Mobius is very small and hasn't skipped a beat in 3 years. The config software is great and easy to use too. The only con is it doesn't have a LCD but that's what makes it super small. I can document the best config settings if anyone needs help. Also I'd buy it direct from Mobius at https://www.mobius-actioncam.com/ and download the software at http://www.mytempfiles.info/mobius/

I just let it hang down. After a while you'll forget it's there. They also have these clips that hug it more to the dash area.

To the right of the rearview mirror via their suction cup. I'll snap a picture when I can. Here's a video from my Mobius in my 2015 GTPP in that position.

mobius still better since it has firmware that can act as a dash cam, auto record, etc.
