I'm not sure what you mean by that. Is this some kind of area with gangs and possible retaliation for talking to cops? I would think trying to catch a thief would only be good for the neighborhood, plus this lady will just do it again, and you have video evidence.

I second this; I mean you can't just leave it be when you have good evidence. She won't know who dobbed her in if you speak to the cops and explain the situation with your mother.... God darn, where do you guys live ? I can have packages sitting for a week here, more than one, nobody would touch em...

I would put about 100 lbs of weights in a box and leave it on the doorstep. That thief will be back, come after the box, won't be able to lift it and you can catch her in the act or get better video....protect your mom's condo neighbors......

Glad I live in a quiet area. Some people still leave their keys in the car. Lol.
My issue has been the Amazon delivery contractors stealing my packages. I've been home when they stop at my place and mark my packages as delivered, but they don't even get out of the delivery van!

If you can have things delivered to your work address then definitely do that. People know what the Amazon delivery vehicles look like and just follow them to steal packages.
