My dad's 09 GT (4.6) is currently getting a Roush stage 1 supercharger and 3.55 gears installed. He said it'd take his car up to around 500hp.
That means my 17 GT will no longer be the faster car.
Now I plan on getting either a super charger or turbo/twin turbo and different gearing once all warranties have run out. I'd like to look at a setup in the 700-800whp range. But in the mean time is there any mods I can do to my car that'll give his a run for his money WITHOUT going forced induction just yet?
At the same time, I'd want whatever I get now to be able to be used with whatever forced induction method I choose rather than blowing the money now only having to upgrade everything in the future.
Is that realistic or would it limit me in the future as to how many hp I can build the car to? If that is the case, I'll probably just upgrade the exhaust so it sounds decent and then just wait to go FI.
Thanks
