literally took over a year and 4 DMV visits to get my plate during the COVID shit show. But, worth it!

I hear you. I gave up in Cali for now. The other shitty part is they no longer let you search online to see if it's available anymore. You have to mail it in and pay for it ahead of time. BS.

I actually had a plate ordered and they kicked it saying it was inappropriate. NEED4GN

They never gave a reason. The only thing that I can think of is that they thought it referred to marijuana even though I told them it is the name of the color of my car.

I originally had LOLKBYE on my first mustang, sold the car, let the plates expire and transferred them over to my mom. Now I'm back in a mustang and had to get a reiteration of my original.
