Ok guys I just called my dealer and he checked whatever dealers check and he said my order should be coming in during the week of December 13th!! Even though I too saw that my date on COTUS was pushed back to 1/25 from 1/24 this morning. I told him that I am really hoping to take delivery by New Years and he said worst case it would be here before Christmas

As usual I'm taking this good news with caution

I think that since our cars got pushed back a couple days, our window stickers won't be up now for a couple days. We should plan on them on Wednesday.

I think I might have also screwed myself by not ordering it from a high volume dealer.

That shouldn't be a factor. I ordered from a small-town, low volume dealer too. Got my VIN and a build date in a very reasonable time frame. No indication that my dealer choice adversely affected me at all, even with the "mythical" convertible order that no one on this board has actually received yet.

Just joking with the "mythical" reference. Hope someone takes delivery of a ragtop soon, I'm looking forward to the reviews.

Congrats. We ordered from the same dealer. How is your salesman? Hopefully your order goes as quick as mine. It took exactly 6 weeks from order to delivery.

It took about a month for me to get a VIN, I ended up it from Ford Service rep (Rachel:love. Etis is useless, it just lists all the stuff on your car and doesnt really help track

Lee was great really patient and has answered all of my emails, although I pretty much leave him alone for now since I can get most of my own info.
