Current Build Week 11/10/2014 Tracking Thread

My car hasn't moved in a week, it's "Still in Arkansas", the Ford rep on another Mustang enthusiast site says it left Texarkana and Monday the other says it's "Still in Arkansas", yesterday it missed my second EDD. I've been patient through all the waiting and delays, but I'm running on reserves now. I'm still hopeful to hear something today or tomorrow, otherwise sometime next week!

Rachel has told me my car was built on Nov 17th but is still "in production", COTUS says Im "awaiting shipment", and my, dealer said their ford rep said my car was built on the 17th and is sitting in a parking lot they call The Pit because there is a rail car shortage.

One thing they can all agree on, no one can tell me when to expect my car.

Mine was buuilt 10/30 and no one knows where its at. Maybe our Mustangs are keeping each other company in their corral.

Being 75 degrees today in Dallas.... coming out of the gym... the a/c seats definitely has the cool butt factor! Seat back works great too

That sucks. The rail car shortage sounds like BS. My car was built on 11/24 and was put on a rail car yesterday and is already in transit. I called CSX today and got updates on where it is.

I think the real answer is more along the lines that these cars piggyback other cargo train; it is not a whole train full of mustangs obviously.

They have to find open slots on these trains to put these cars on that are going towards your state. If there is not another open slot on a cargo train to your state for 2 weeks, then you wont be in transit for 2 weeks. There are also more frequent train routes to certain states than others.

Being 35 degrees here in Pa the warm seats are awesome. Good to see the other works well. Gonna be a while till I need that.
