White lithium grease

Any recommendations?White lithium grease
I bought some Lucas lithium grease from Home Depot today I just don’t exactly where to apply it regarding the back seatsI had the same creaking noise also. I sprayed the rear sway bar bushings, rear seat latches, and rear seat pivot points with IES silicone spray. I don’t know which area fixed it since I did them all at the same time, but I no longer have any creaking.
Ok thanks. It seems to be very common I wonder what causes it to creak tbhFold the rear seats down so you can access the latch mechanisms. Apply lubrication to the latch mechanisms. The pivot points are the components that allow the seat to fold. They are more difficult to access but not that bad.
When you say latch mechanisms are you referring to the part that catches the seat and holds it in the upright position? I believe I see the pivot point but not to sure and with this Lucas white lithium grease I’m not sure how I can get grease in there.Fold the rear seats down so you can access the latch mechanisms. Thanks SidewaysMike Ill check that out and see if thats whats causing the sound. Sadly I checked the rear seat latches and U bracket then drove with the seats down and the sound was still there. I had my gf get in the trunk of the car as well and we narrowed it down to the passenger side rear taillight area. It sounds like a coil or spring compressing and then stretching back out. It could be something realated to the suspension but after having narrowed it down to the taillight area I figured I would see if maybe it was the body panels or taillight itself. After messing with the panels and taillight I found that only the passenger tailight squeaks when it is pushed down on or manipulated. I also found out that if you push on my rear quarter panel near the rear bumper the sound you hear in the video can be lightly heard. Im wondering if the taillight is the issue or if its a mixture of the taillight and a body panel rubbing against something. Ill post videos of what Im talking about later this week. I am sadly dealing with a tint issue at the moment as well. I had a highly rated(4.9stars out of 5) tint shop tint my mustang 15% all around excluding the windshield. The shop did a good job on the front two windows but completely ruined the rear window and quarter windows. There is contamination and air bubbles throughout my rear window near all of the defrosting wires. As well as air bubbles in the quarter windows and the dot matrix. Im Taking the car back to the tint shop Friday and hopefully having it fully repaired free of charge. Wish me luck!
Yeah it was the seat hinge that’s visible when you drop the seat down I rubbed grease on it and it went away.Have you figured out the squeak in the back? I noticed even on my 19 when I would detail wax it if I pressed on the rear quarter and bumper area it would squeak ridiculously loud. Havent had a driving sqeaks other than when I'm cutting the wheels hard right or left backing out of the garage. Fairly level driveway also.
Good stuffYeah it was the seat hinge that’s visible when you drop the seat down I rubbed grease on it and it went away.
That sounds exactly like what my car is doing, thanks for posting the video. I first noticed it in the parking garage at work when I would turn into an incline. I can't really hear it when I'm up to speed all that much because road noise probably blocks it out, but I definitely hear it when the rear goes over speed bumps at low speeds or when I'm turning while reversing, as well as when I'm transitioning from a flat surface to an incline surface while turning.
this is what my car does.
