Gotcha I thought he meant now lol
Ive seen how some have had good luck and others failed. I will do it just for added insurance when I boost it !!

Update : Front subframe will be here tomorrow !!!!
Although a lower crack sprocket upgrade would be a good idea while the 5.0 is still out of the car.... Its the weak link on those motors.

I know it makes sense , but you have to remember im installing a used engine out of a salvage car with a 90 day warranty . If i pull it apart and then it fails im screwed ! If it fails when i start it for the first time then its on them to replace it !

You, sir, are a brave man. I've done swaps on classic cars but I've always been too afraid to try on late model cars.

lots to talk about tonight , so I got the engine installed everything bolted right up with no trouble. obviously using the gt harness everything plugged right in, heater hoses , ground to fire wall, booster vac line and fuel line all plugged right in to the ecoboost. So here is one tip for making this extremely easy to remove and install the engine in you're garage use an ATV jack and a creeper to move it in place then take the creeper out and use a floor jack under the trans to lift it all up. I installed it all by myself with this method !! Also i didn't realize the driver side engine mount bracket was missing until i tried to install the k member. Turns out I had some engine brackets from my 08 3v i compared the pass side and the dimensions are the same but different castings so i figured what hell it has to be same on the other side ? so i installed it and it all bolted together !

O yeah and it runs like a champ !!!! Fired right up on the first try !!!! Here is video link of it running , keep in mind "haters" that yes every light is on in the dash but there are lots of things unplugged and I still need to get the airbag and abs modules reprogrammed so the vins match ! There will be more videos and pics once its reprogrammed and driving .
