Yes, been there. Coverking is who made the OEM cover. However the plane jane one color is $270 shipped from autoanything or I can just get OEM with all the logos and such for $309. And thats without shopping around. I suspect white bear lake will be cheaper.
I was thinking about contacting cover king asking for the cobra logo white racing strips black mirrors black roof and base color in orange now that would be cool to have a perfect match of your car that might be worth the few extra coins i did see that they can do custom so it could be done

I saw no options for the cobra logo when ordering directly from coverking. IMHO the stripes are too far apart. I do believe the retail for the combo you speak of is about 420 plus tax and shipping.

I agree on the stripe spacing, Tom. I'd be curious to see how they manufacture them with the graphics. And, if you could really "customize" a cover with your own, I might just spring for one but, it doesn't appear that's the case.

So do you still have the box that your oem cover came in Kent?

<grinning>

With all the other boxes and chidt in the garage, Tom, the last thing I needed was more. I didn't save any of the cardboard, etc.

Heck, I'm wondering where in tarnation I'm gonna store the OEM lug nuts. :-)

OK, I was waiting for a OEM part number before I called about it.

Sorry I couldn't help, Tom and I don't think the PN is on the storage bag but I'll look.
No, its not. But it may be on the tag of the cover. Im still racking my brain over it. White bear lake couldnt figure it out either.

Edited to add:
I think I broke the code. I'll post my results later so nobody has to try to figure this out again. If you find your part number, that would be helpful

Tom: I rolled it out in the living room and looked for tags, there were only two. The big one says "FRONT" and along the side there was a small one with HANDWRITING on it that said either:

"19A412KA"

or

"19A912KA"

And, there was a "14" written in the lower corner but not part of the above writing. On the back side of that tag, this was written:

"KA12"

Probably no help.

This doesn't jive with the part number that Tob posted the photo of, but it is as it appears on the Ford parts website.

The part numbers below are found on parts.ford.com

VLR3Z19A412 is the part number for the cover. That part number is broken down into 4 categories VLR3Z19A412A, VLR3Z19A412B, VLR3Z19A412C, and VLR3Z19A412D. Those subcategories mean nothing except divide the covers into categories that provide the actual part number.

VLR3Z19A412A is for the indoor cover with the GT4 wing (CFTP)
VLR3Z19A412B is for the indoor cover with the small wing (base car)
VLR3Z19A412C is for the outdoor cover with the GT4 wing (CFTP)
VLR3Z19A412D is for the outdoor cover with the small wing (base car)
A,B,C,D from above mean nothing pertaining to the actual car cover part number, they are categories for each type of cover (indoor, outdoor, CFTP, and base)

To determine the part number for the car cover you want, expand each category above into another subcategory to obtain the actual part number.

VLR3Z19A412A category is for the indoor cover for a CFTP and is broken down to which color you want. Colors available are grey, blue, red, and black. (below are the actual part numbers)
If you want a grey cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412J
If you want a blue cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412G
If you want a red cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412H
If you want a black cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412K

VLR3Z19A412B category is for the indoor cover for a base car and is broken down to which color you want. Colors available are grey, blue, red, and black. (below are the actual part numbers)
If you want a blue cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412B
The rest of the colors are not specified on the parts page

VLR3Z19A412C category is for the outdoor cover for a CFTP and is broken down to which color you want. Outdoor colors are grey and black only. (below are the actual part numbers)
If you want a grey cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412M
If you want a black cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412F

VLR3Z19A412D category is for the outdoor cover for a base car and is broken down to which color you want. Outdoor colors are grey and black only. (below are the actual part numbers)
If you want a grey cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412L
If you want a black cover, the part is VLR3Z19A412A

Tom, checkout the labels that Tob posted, they appear to be preproduction labels and the part number may reflect that. The top label has an OD (order date) 11/05/19 and the bottom label is dated 06 June 2019. My labels are dated 01/20/20 and 06 Oct 2019. The important dates are 06 June 2019 and 06 Oct 2019, Oct 2019 is the start of production on Stock/Retail GT500's.

I like to disassemble things.
My cover will sell for millions in the year 2045. I will use the proceeds to pay for booze, strippers, a pallet of Viagra and then die a happy man. Thank you Coverking!

If I had to wait until 2045 for a payout, it would take more than Viagra to get me up and running, it would take a Necromancer to get the job done. Even after that, I don't think there would be enough money in the world to talk a stripper into jumping on this party animal.

The best price I could find for a replacement cover from Coverking is $269 shipped. The OEM covers with internet pricing are running $307 plus $18 shipping, plus tax

Was that for the "INSIDE" or "OUTSIDE" cover for the CFTP GT500?
