My EDD was yesterday (Friday). My dealership is/was closed from Friday through Sunday for Easter Holiday. Ford Service informed me that my convertible was placed on a transport last Monday. It is about 70 miles from the rail yard to my dealership. COTUS still says that my car is in Transit. But the EDD vanished on Thursday and has been blank since then. Sales said that if the transport drops off cars at night or Sundays, COTUS is still informed immediately. Does COTUS automatically show the date that the car was delivered on the progress bar?
I would like to stop in and see the car if it is there...but it is considerable drive to find out. After waiting since the first week in February (build date), I want to find out as soon as possible if there are any visible QC problems.
Update: Sunday night...since Friday night, COTUS has said that my car does not exist! The EDD supposedly was Saturday, 04/04...but on Friday night COTUS said it could not find any vehicle with my VIN#...it has consistently repeated that for the last three days. I have had COTUS say no such car exists, for a couple of hours, but never for three days. That's why I was wondering if COTUS can get scrambled when a vehicle is delivered to a dealer?
