accuracy of Cotus Delivery date

Walked in to my local dealer-he found 2 models for me in the area.

When I got home I checked their Cotus...One had a manufactured date in Feb. with estimated delivery in 3 days. The 2nd, had a manufactured date in March with an estimated delivery in 27 days.

I just have to pick which one i want...

How accurate are those delivery estimates?

The dates are subject to change, it's only an estimation. It could come sooner or it could come later (rarely). Just tell yourself that the date is accurate and go by that. If it comes in early, it'll be a welcome surprise.

Complete crapshoot.

My first EDD was supposed to have been 3/22. Still don't have the car, but should be this week. I think my EDD changed six times on COTUS....

When the 3/22 EDD came up not long after ordering, my dealer thought it might have been here the week of 3/16. Laughable, especially with a 10 priority code.

It's been a long three months (ordered 1/2) and I am ready for it to be over....

I got to admitt it was dead on in my case-in fact the delievered date moved from end of March to 2nd week. I may have been helped by living about 4 hours from Flat Rock. Of course it didn't help at all--since I got the car we have had nothing but wet cold days. There is a sticker in the door jamb warning not to drive in temps below 41 degrees with the PP tires.

Once my car got beyond the hold-for-transit stage...the EDD was changed multiple times...each time was stretched farther into the future.

Well, my salesman said I could have the car by the end of the week. I am not sure how informed or sure he was. Does not add up...

Currently, one of the cars on Cotus-the status is on "Awaiting Shipment" with an estimated delivery date of "2 days".

The dealer it is getting delivered to is 1.5 hours away, so I probably will not get it for this weekend.

Is there a tool we can use to find cars on lots? Besides Cars.com, Autotrader,

Yours arrived at the last rail yard on Saturday and it’s waiting on a truck to pick it up and deliver it, Strokerswild.

Final EDD...

My last EDD was 04/04. Ford Service contacted me that my convertible was finally off the BNSF rail car in Minneapolis. My dealer is not sure which day it will be delivered. Depends on any intervening drop offs between the Twin Cities and my town. Sales Manager suggested that I swing through their delivery lot on Easter to look for it, he was certain it would be there by then. But better probability would be the EDD 04/04 Saturday...right on the money.

Cotus for me has been shit.... Just yesterday it said my car was delivered.... On 3/30. Then this morning its back in transit initial EDD was 4/7 then 4/12 then 4/13. All I know is I have no idea when It will be at my dealer.
