There could be a group buy.... maybe.... :)

I don't know, maybe something that has to do with an exhaust and CAI purchase or customers who've already purchased an exhaust from us... you just never know:) Maybe you guys should pm us!!

No tune required and market pricing will be $339 AND we also have a $35 mail in rebate for CORSA intakes that started today...
Is there a removable insert that can be removed? What kind of filter? Any more pics of the intake?

i don't get why people think borla is such a good deal. I will never buy a borla product after seeing their quality firsthand on the 86 platform. Here's borla's collector on their header vs a quality brand (JDL).

some more awesome borla quality:

This is a different platform, and different products, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Corsa has excellent welds and quality. I'd rather buy it once and know i'm getting some of the best out there vs buying something to save 2-300 bucks and having issues with it or running something with crappy welds. Just my 2c

i just realised, that the filter used in the corsa intake, is not a powercore filter, but a pro5 filter. I dont understand why they would do that, is the powercore not the better option? Somehow i would like the idea of a dry filter.

I've always considered Corsa to be overpriced, but so are a lot of things that people still buy regardless.

The Bose surround system in my mother's house is a good example--I could have designed her a much better system for half the cost. The MK bag I bought for my wife was wasteful--I could have gotten her a purse at Wal-Mart for a tenth of the price. The Movado watch I bought for myself was a truly dumb purchase--if I just needed something to keep track of time I could have worn a sundial...

All that stuff is a waste of money but you are buying a name and that gives most consumers peace of mind. Sometimes name=quality too, though not always. At any rate I don't like the way Corsa sounds so I got Roush instead. To each his own. :headbang:

I have the same thoughts concerning exhaust. As for the headers, I think Borla's forte is exhaust not so much headers. When people get headers ARH, Kooks come to mind. Depending where you look can probaby get Corsa for about same price as other brands.

So these are available for purchase. Is there any info on whether a tune is needed or can they be run without it?

No tune required and limited availability. Our initial run sold out faster than anticipated.:doh:

Listen guys, this Corsa Intake is the truth!

Install was a breeze, and the components of the kit are the same top shelf quality that we are accustomed to when working with the folks over at Corsa.

The inside of the box is the smoothest surface I've ever seen in an intake box. I would say with confidence that these guys took just as much R&D in the air box, as most companies do on the entire intake.

The way the box connects with the air duct behind the grill is unreal. All in all, it's my favorite intake to date.

Intake Air Temps are way lower than with my JLT. Especially while sitting at idle. I'm right around 3* above ambient with the new Corsa intake.

I ran it for a few days on the stock tune, and have since gotten it tuned again by Jon Lund for the Corsa Intake.

The tune is much stronger feeling than even the JLT tune from Lund.

Corsa is the truth folks!
