Corsa double x pipe

Thinking of buying Corsa x pipe on my GT350. Does it make a lot of difference compare to stock xpipe?
And other options to consider?

Several cheaper, just as good options available. Check out Lethal, Shiftek, MBRP, those are just some that pop up off the top of my head. Good luck.

Yes, it'll make it as loud as an R. Normally I don't harp too much on factory exhaust designs regarding flow but the factory X pipe seems to be very poorly designed, it seems to just shoot exhaust right across each bank which seems like a collision point and makes scavanging more taxing.

FWIW, I think there's a story floating around that Ford at one time said that the resonators removed are worth 530 vs 526 HP but decided not to recertify the R due to cost. Obviously I'm going to push for the Corsa piece and yes it is extremely well built. But it's up to you. The double crossover is kinda cool though.

I'd recommend the Shiftek X Pipe


She didn't cut the neck down which I did and it's actually louder than her sound clips. I love it.

Corsa on mine and and makes a big difference in volume, pops and crackles on deceleration and a slightly higher pitch and more raspy tone. Big fan of my Corsa, however, any of the options discussed are fine. Highly recommend changing to aftermarket for the xpipe.

I noticed you got the tech package too. Did you get aftermarket coolers? How's it holding up at the track? Did you enable the tran temp cooler through forscan yet?

Added trans cooler, enable trans temp via Forscan and change the diff fluid every 2-4 track days. The car has been great and tons of fun these last 3 1/2 years. Fun chasing down GT3's and other track cars. About 25 track days and some AutoX so far.

I plan to add the diff cooler this year. Just need time to make it happen.

What was the end result cost for the trans cooler setup?

Bought the Ford Performance kit which has the cooler, bracket and cooler lines. Added an electric oil pump and some AN fittings plus the factory cooler duct for the bumper and self installed. Cost was about 1k. I turn on the switch before going out each session or if I'm stuck in summer traffic in NYC.

Is there a lot difference between x pipe alone and full system? Also does corsa catback work with active exhaust?
