Coolant temp

I just picked up a 19gt 401a A10 and loving it. I know I can read CHT but can I read the actual coolant temp anywhere? I searched but can’t find the answer? Thanks

CHT is pretty close to coolant temp.

Yep, Cylinder Head Temp is what you want.

In the olden days, the temp sender was in the intake manifold, the intake is plastic now(?) and most likely not using fluid. so CHT is what you are looking for.

My temp gauge shows below my tach on Normal and I programmed the CHT in the middle.

Mine too but no actual number correct? Just the gauge with no real reference for actual coolant temp?

The CHT works for me, more relevant to aluminum melting.
