you can just open the door too without using the key fob

Right, I knew that one and opening the trunk with the button under the license place but didn't know about the locking by touching the handle. Sometimes it pays to read the manual! I'll have to keep reading it and learn some more...:headbonk:

Can't you just walk away from the vehicle and it auto locks?

My understanding is that you don't ever have to pull the fob out it just has to be within range of the sensors to open or start the vehicle or leave the range of the sensors to lock it.

My understanding is that you don't ever have to pull the fob out it just has to be within range of the sensors to open or start the vehicle or leave the range of the sensors to lock it.

So far, mine doesn't seem to auto-lock (not the auto-lock that locks the doors when you start driving away) and I don't see a setting for it.

It seems to work like Kessy in the VW/Audi cars, touch the door handle to lock and pull the handle to unlock.

I forget when I have been driving my Corvette which does really auto-lock when the fob leaves the range.

I figured out the lock and unlock of the door as I was detailing it.

All I really know is that driving another car without all these cool gizmos is going to be painful.

I like how the gauges turn full white when you turn off the car to illuminate the interior as much as possible.

The thing I don't like is that for the easy exit seat feature, when entering it goes forward first, then goes down. It jambs my knees into the steering wheel. On exit, it goes back first, then up. I wish it had gone down first, then in. I also can't figure out how to get it to go back to position when I get in prior to starting the car. I can't depress the clutch far enough in to start the car with the seat all the way back. Am I missing something? I've resorted to saving the exit position I want as #3 and my driving position as #1. But again, it goes forward first and down second.

I'm not noticing mine going up or down, but my memory settings are all at the lowest the seat goes. My seat only moves forward and back on entry/exit. Maybe try resetting all your memory configs??

Just tap the start button with your foot off the clutch and it will go into accessory mode and move the seat for you. Then, you can push the clutch and hit the button again to start the car.
