Im on the same boat. I really want a tune after returning my FORD PP2.
I see a lot of members say its a night and day difference but some dynos dont show that much difference? Im not talking about stock vs full bolt ons and tuned. But stock to stock + tune. Will i really feel that much difference?
yes. That's basically my scenario. I only have an airaid cai and an ARH catback on my gtpp and the difference was very, very noticeable.

The difference after you tuned it or after the CAI and Catback?

Tune, no real difference on catback, and I wouldn't be surprised if the little difference I thought I felt after CAI was all 100% placebo.

I am currently running just airaid + lund ff.
Car feels way faster. I'll be hitting the track as soon as it stops raining to confirm this

I'm pretty sure a good tune makes a noticeable amount more difference on an auto vs manual from the faster shifts alone.

I added a Lund 93 tune on the reduced power 5.0 UK version (I think we get c 420bhp)....... Put on a PMAS CAI and said Lund tune. I have no idea how much more BHP / Torque etc but I CAN feel as though car is totally different it just pulls like a train from the get go now. My engine had done 450 miles only before the tune, so although early days I have in effect binned the warranty from the start, life is too short to wait, just do it!

Where the dyno won't show the difference is on the road performance. While dyno numbers are great, all too frequently we get hung up on those numbers and realize they do not take in effect throttle response and transmission behavior(if applicable).

A tunes wakes up the car. I've had both Bama and Lund tunes on my 2015 and both were better than stock. I've been tuned since about 5K miles and have almost 20k on it now and no problems with the engine.

Both tunes make noticeable power increases. I find the Lund tune to have better throttle response. The Bama tune goes into engine braking sooner than the Lund tune does - as the drive by wire settings are more similar to stock tune.

If i ever get a tune it will be Lund FF tune. Does an intake make a big difference in gains together with a tune? I wanna stay away from headers until i get a quieter exhaust.
Also, if i ever run into a problem with the engine and need to take it in to the dealership. Can i flash it back to stock and they wont know i was tuned before?

They will know because of a flash count will be logged in engine ecm

Damn, has you posted this in December I would've convinced you. lol. I had a Lund tune on my 3.55 geared auto. You won't regret it, worth every penny. Makes the auto so much more fun.

I still have it but it's got a Procharger now. I don't think you want convincing for boost.

Short pull with just the Lund tune, traction control on...
