Convertible Production?

It seems like most folks here are into coupes, but I am wondering if there are actually convertibles coming down the line yet in normal production. I know some of us future vert owners have scheduled dates coming up very soon. As for me I am keeping my fingers crossed. Back in 2005 we didn't see verts on the lot until around July here in Ohio!

My dealer said yesterday that he didn't expect to see any convertibles on his lot until January. He said he was one of the largest Mustang dealers in the area. Packey Webb Ford in Illinois.

We were told to expect them on the ground in time for Spring. Not sure if that's early Spring or late Spring at this point though.

Production starts first week of December we were told but I'm starting to see few invoices on the locator.

I am hoping that production has indeed begun. As of yesterday my dealer told me that there had been no changes to my order which is currently scheduled for next week. Probably best not to get a week number one car with a different body style because of the likelihood of quality holds. We shall see...

My dealership has 3 '15 Convertibles due to arrive between 11/23 and 11/30 and another due to arrive in early December. All 4 are Premium GT's. Convertibles are definitely in production and coming soon.

Thanks for the info, Brian! Convertible info seems a ltitle hard to find sometimes. And since I ordered fairly late in the game sometimes my info on scheduled date seems almost too good to be true!

Got my VIN today. Anticipated build date is the week of Dec 8th. Both courtesy of my dealer. Still nothing in COTUS.

I received an update from Rachel today. She tells me that my convertible is scheduled to begin production (whatever that means) later this week and build next week. But my eta has been updated to Dec 28 (from Nov 27)

Do any of your verts show up in COTUS?

I've never used COTUS. All 4 of my '15 Verts show up with VIN's and ETA's in CONCEPS. Ford loads cars onto our website for us once they're produced. Our first '15 Vert is already on our website (click here). Two more should show up online next week after they are built, as well.
