Confused with Sync 3 301a pkg

Dealer couldn’t help me, looking at purchasing a new 19/possibly 20 gt. Does the sync 3 system with the 301a package offer apple CarPlay or is that only on the sync 3 with their performance pkg/400a? Thank in advance, could not find anything on the forums about different sync 3 systems.

SYNC 3 has CarPlay support. It's not package dependent.

301A package comes with the infotainment Sync3 screen. May or may not come with NAV built in. You don't really need factory NAV if you plan to use Carplay. It will also have the toggle switches for the drive mode selection which is almost a must on this car.

I don’t need the factory nav, never use it w CarPlay. But I do like the toggleswitches
