so about 3 weeks ago i decided that i was tired of waiting on CDC to come out with their shaker kit for the S550. After numerous emails and months gone by I decided to embark on my own kit vs waiting for updates with their newsletter. I ordered some 04 mach 1 parts and began to fabricate with the existing engine mount. all the parts came off a 04 mach1 minus I used a 2010-2014 upper and lower shaker trim panel. after getting the hood cut right it was a task to fix the rake on the shaker as best as possible with the 2015 hood, upper and lower trim and shaker hood seal. this was a difficult task but finally got it where i was happy. the rest was just all cosmetic bits I thought would be how ford would have made it. Well i know there are gonna be some haters but i like it. I think the rear window louvers and a cervini C type chin will complete the look. Always love the look of the Mach1 and now it gonna be a SUV.

My only nit pick complaint of the shaker is that the rear of it isn't up high enough through the hood...it just doesn't quite look right to me.

The rear panel looks great... especially with the black spoiler. The triangular grill badge is really slick. I like that alot.

I agree with this, is there a way to raise the rear up?

But the stripe and rear panel are fucking great man. That rear panel is awesome, perfect.

I'm hoping someone comes out with a NACA hood though.

the black roof and hood blackout look good.

I tried the best I could, but with the upper trim panel, lower trim panel from a 2019-14 Gt, shaker seal from 04 mach1 and the 2015 hood this is the best i could do. there is not enough clearance and i don’t have the tools or skill to do so. I did improve it as much as I could you can see in the 4 pic that the right side was way raked and then left side was it modified. the rest are how it currently sits after final adjustments.

Very nice modern interpretation using the shaker. I have a 2003 Mach1 and this is a great job.

I try to be supportive of others and their mod choices, but that first trim ring/cut job had me solidly in the no category. After you redid the trim ring it looks outstanding. Nice work.:rockon:

Not gonna lie I was in a hurry and couldn’t wait two days for the trim rings to arrive. so once I made the cuts i had to live with it for a couple days.

Love the overall concept. I ran a CDC shaker on my 07 but it was designed for my car. I give you a lot of credit. I remember how scared I was when I was cutting up my hood.

Not sure it would work in your situation, but have you looked into the idea of using spacers. I am not sure where you are having the clearance issues. It wouldn't raise the mounting surface, just the scoop. Maybe fabricate one of your own that is taller in the rear than the front. Here is a spacer made by CDC as a reference of what I am talking about. https://www.americanmuscle.com/cdc-..._4QFnDKr5acjm6V3MdhoC5xoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Nicely done and not over the top with stripes and other none mach 1 junk. I know everyone one has said this and I'm not piling on but if you could get the rear of the shaker above the hood your interpretation who be spot on.

I like it, and getting that shaker propped up in the rear would make it perfect.
