They did my old build. 500.4whp in an S197 6MT.

4k on my old car including cams, springs, opgs, labor and dyno tune.

GT350 mani. is holding it back from 500whp. S550s need to do ported CJ setups and 500whp will come.
Ported manifolds alot cheaper then ported heads ...but ported heads make more power.

For sure. It was $100 to port the manifold, so that was a no brainer. I left the heads alone. Would've added another 2-2.5k to do.

They are working out a driveabilty issue with the car, its whats holding up the completion. There's a slight part throttle chugging in 6th gear at around 45 mph! I told them i can wait till they get it ironed out! Since i didnt hear anything from them today, i have to assume they are still working on it. Hopefully it will get done tommorow!

45 mph in 6th? With 355s Yes I would think there's a chug. What are the rpm's there?

Didnt say what rpm but it seems to coincide with the converter lockup! They say its just a matter of hitting that sweetspot for this combination. Cam timing, big tb and intake...it take time to get it perfect!

Jon Jr doing some magic with stage 2 comp blower cams on an n/a cat with plans of adding a sc later on

From. Jon Jr's Facebook

The "power" of cam timing. I tuned some Comp Stage 2 Blower cams on a 2015 GT Auto that is NA with a GT350 manifold and e85 today. I thought it was a bit odd, but he's going to add a blower later so I told him we should definitely dial in the cam timing so he can get the most out of it while it is NA. The blue line is what we started with. The Red line is what we ended up with. Under the curve it picked up over 100 rwhp in some areas and almost 200 ft/lbs of torque! Got to love these Coyote engines!

One hell of a gain in torque where it is needed

Very nice, can anyone provide the average cost for cam install? Also is a stall recommended with the cams? I know in the LS world some would work with stock stall, others would push through and stall was recommended.

a stall is typically only "needed" on big single cam engines that are wanting to stall out because the rpm drop it too low

A stall speed converter is not needed but recommended if you want quicker 60 ft times and also to deminish the effects of the loss of low end torque that upgraded cams provide!

I'd like to know this as well. If I knew of a shop close by or fairly close by (that really knows what they're doing), to install them, I'd be buying them. Even if I "only" got 70RWHP out of it, that's more than worth it to me.
