  1. going from Ford Performance Stage 1 to Canned tune

I had to take off the PP1 tune before I could load any SCT-based tunes. I simply uninstalled it through my computer and reinstalled the stock tune. I then uploaded my AED tune through my SCT handheld. Did you guys have a dealership load on the Ford tunes?
  2. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

No, they are certainly not! The PP1 tune was good for MAYBE .1 and 1 mph in the 1/4mi, and all of the nannies were still as intrusive. To be honest, I wish I didn't do it. It wasn't worth it.
  3. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

Corrected numbers. I always take these with a grain of salt. Even though you're mostly stock, I'd go off of the middle number. Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines 12.532 @ 115.137 MPH...
  4. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

What was the DA on both days? What track and what dates, and I'll help you figure it out. Varying weather conditions can account for some of that, but my experience with PP1 vs. stock vs. AED tuned is that the Ford warranty tunes are ... lukewarm at best.
  5. going from Ford Performance Stage 1 to Canned tune

If you go away from the PP1, ONLY go to an etune from one of the reputable tuners. I strongly advise against using the base SCT tunes. It won't be better than PP1. For me, going from PP1 to an AED etune was a big change. The car got a lot faster.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that trap speed is quite low for those mods. In 3500 DA I trapped higher with a tune and intake. There must be another factor ... Maybe the 3.31s aren't ideally suited to the midrange loss of the GT350 manifold?
  7. 2018 Mustang Price List (MSRP/Invoice): EB Starts at $25,585, GT at $35,095

Well, this was last summer in August, and I think they had 0% in July as well? I do think the the '15s had 0% the summer before as well. I would never pay full price for a Mustang.
  8. 2018 Mustang Price List (MSRP/Invoice): EB Starts at $25,585, GT at $35,095

I've been mulling over this for a couple of days. It's really dissapointing the base price is $36k after destination. That puts the V8 out of reach for a lot of people. From what I can tell, this is meant to skew the manjority of buyers toward the Ecoboost. While a nice alternative, I see no...
  9. 2018 Mustang Price List (MSRP/Invoice): EB Starts at $25,585, GT at $35,095

That moment when the Camaro SS looks like a good deal, lol. Can't wait for the 2020 model. Base V8 price: $38,995 before dest.

  13. First time at track. Can you say wheel hop??

BMR CB005 helped, but certainly didn't cure the wheel hop by any means. I stopped doing burnouts because the car wheel hopped so bad. That said, I was much more consistent after that and the car 60ft-ed the same. Skipping the smoke show on street tires will reduce the likelihood of snapping...
  14. Engine knock? 3200 miles

We can argue this to death. The noise started after the first oil change and went away only when Comp cams were installed. The noise never changed in any manner despite different types of oil, additives, etc., yet it was silent on the factory fill. Let's just blame it on a dry start and move...
