I have a 2012 SS vert. Tom Henry edition. I keep seeing the S550 Coupes and keep thinking...maybe...maybe I'll lose the drop top.

Thoughts? My car runs good, but it's outdated and trimmed right, these cars are so sharp. Or ... should I hunt for a GT350? also, I haul 2 kids around for fun in this car on nice days so parents with at least one car seat, let me know your thoughts haha!

Thanks!

I have a car seat, a booster. Kid is 8 and honestly a full grown adult fits back there better, because their feet go to the floor. My kids feet hit the back of the seat instead, so for him to be very comfortable for a long journey, best if the front seat is empty. For local driving and short trips he endures it. But yeah, been out with four adults in the car and it was more comfortable.

I’d keep your SS for now while prices are still crazy are continue to search for a gt350 or mach 1 over the next few months. Prices have finally started to loosen a smidge but still nothing to celebrate yet. The tech will be an upgrade from your year camaro, sync3 is great. Back seats in mustangs aren’t that much better than Camaros so as long as the kids aren’t complaining you should be good. I have both a convertible pony and a coupe track car. I daily my vert to enjoy the sunshine so I’ll keep my mouth shut when it comes to which one I like more. 🤣

I couldn't imagine putting a car seat behind me. On the passanger side, no problem. If it was an auto I could probably move my seat up enough to squeeze one on the drivers side but too uncomfortable shifting that way. If your rocking 2 car seats now in the camaro I'm sure you'll be fine. My 3 year old daughter does love cruising in the 5.0 and squeals with laughter if I give it a little gas.

The Camaro interior is smaller than the S550 (any version including GT350). I wanted the ZL1, but after some test drives with the wife and kids (14 and 9). Both fit in the rear seat, but my 14yo is pretty tall (5'8") and she hits the roof and has to sit forward a bit. The Camaro was WAY worse for legroom also. Passenger seat had to be moved up which caused my wife's knees to hit the glove box.
