Hi and welcome here. Great looking car, I've yet to see a NFGreen in the flesh. The brighter colours work really well on the 'Stangs. You'll get so much attention compared to the RS. :like:

Now I need to give it a good detail, as I wouldnt let the dealer clean it.!
Good man :sunglasses: what products do you use?

P.s. it's against the rules to detail a Mustang and not post pictures of the results

Too many haha but I'm going more towards Chemical Guys products, not just for the smells but they seem to work quite well. And bilthamber and valetpro.

Nice. Good brands there, got my eye on a few valetpro products myself. Heard lots of good things about bilthamber - got one of their clay bars.

Not sure where abouts in the country you are but there's a big detailing shop in Preston (fairly new I think), specialising in Chemical Guys stuff. My kinda place, shame it's so far away!

Good god that is stunning, if I am fortunate enough to still be able to drive a Mustang in a few years time I will swap my 2016 for one in this colour.WOW

Thanks Maddog1982. It was in the showroom and couldn't resist! Call it an impulsive purchase, but well worth it

Be careful. The mitchelins are good but they don’t glue it to the road like a focus on sticky rubber. Sideways is quite normal with a mustang. Quite some first rwd car, in my day it was Morris marinas or mk 2 escorts lol

Ah, Mk2 Escorts... I had an 1100 Pop Plus with a 1300 engine. Most fun was after they resurfaced the roads on our estate by laying a layer of chippings on them - aka gravel stage! Powerslides (with about 60 bhp!) at 20 mph :)

In for its ceramic coating next week, will get pics when it's done and see if they can take some during the process should look even better after that!

Ha it's going to be an adjustment, also being the first RWD car I've owned.
I'm in the same boat, but I haven't had any real performance cars to fall back on, either. Safe to say I've been taking it veeeeeery gently since I picked it up!

Unfortunately I think I've got the inconsistent bbq tick noise and I've only covered 330 miles :( luckily it's not much louder than the injector tick, I just know it's there cause it's an inconsistent tick.

As per my video:

i know ford say its nothing to worry about but if i had an engine doing that i'd be stripping it, it worries me when things make sounds they really shouldn't

People are saying the snake oil Ceratec is used to mask the problem. I know it's only putting a plaster over the issue, but I'd rather that for now than have my engine stripped to find that ford cant do anything to resolve. Using Ceratec wont do any harm, and maybe monitor the sound after the first oil change.
